I maintain a passion for all things equestrian - both caring for and riding horses, as well as 12+ years of showing in 4-H and open shows. I also have shown Beef, Draft Horse, Sheep, Dairy, and Dog obedience which is right next to my love for showing horses. With 4 years of pet/farm and house sitting experience and a lifetime of farming experience, I have a complete understanding of the commitment needed to make this win/win concept truly work. I am a non-smoker. I have cared for my own pets and family livestock over the years, including many cats, dogs(2), horses(30), chickens(up to 60), turkeys (up to 20), cattle(40-60 head), sheep(20), pigs(2-4 at a time), goats, ducks and bunnies. I know and understand the worry and concern of leaving them for even a short time but as with my many pet owner clients, I have also known the complete peace of mind when leaving them safe, happy and loved with someone who truly cares. I have even assisted with being a host home for 20 SPCA horses. I have experience with all breeds of dogs both large and small, particularly working breeds such as Australian Cattle dogs.
