Are you interested in becoming a fundemental part of the CBS Shipping Board? We are now looking for 3 new board members to join us in building the organization. Send half a page motivational letter and information about previous experience to shippingcbs@gmail, and specify which position youre applying to. If youre not sure of which position suits you, just send us a general application. Interviews will be held 5-6 November. The vacant positions are: Head of Financial Affairs With the financial responsibility this person has to keep track of every income and expenditure. He or she will be responsible for the final financial report and will together with the board set the next annual budget. All original receipts have to end up with this person, so it is improtant that he or she is organized. This position also includes negotiating contracts with potential partners. Event Manager This person holds the main responsibility for planning and hosting events such as shipping talks, company visits, dinners and social events. He or she must coordinate the board, as well as members that potentially are asked to help out at certain events. Together with the head of communication, he or she is responsible for all information before an event, and it will also be expected that this person speaks at the events. IT Manger Main responsibility is to create and maintain the CBS Shipping website. He or she is also responsible for making all information for our members and others available through our information channels such as twitter, facebook and cbsshipping. To make this happen he or she needs to collaborate closely with the head of communication.
