Are you ready for another full weekend? Friday 9th Inspired by the talented young artists, Rui Fernandes has a very special exhibition at the Arts and Crafts Centre in which the exhibitionists are 1st year students. Primary Hands gives the name to this exhibition that opens on Friday, 9th. Saturday 10th On Saturday morning the Municipal Market hosts the Exhibition of Crafts and the visit of the Municipal Library that brings to you, great literary proposals. You should also and take a tour of the producers of the Little Market where you can enjoy the best confectionary products for your lunch! For fans of board games the Municipal Library hosts a session of the Fantastic Saturdays starting at 15:30. The invitation has been launched! During the afternoon the Flying Carpet takes its first trip of the New Year in a journey to discover who knows the Moon, a story that involves the forest animals in a super fun adventure for the whole family. The Carpet takes flight at 16:00 from the Municipal Library. By late afternoon the Costume Museum welcomes you to the opening of of a new art exhibition. Come along and see works by Eduardo Dias, Zélia Rebelo, Henrique Silva, Magda Dexters and Leonardo Defaria. The opening time is 18:00 and admission is free. Sunday 11th On Sunday the Centro Museulógico do Alportel invites you to try your hand at Traditional Portuguese Dancing. Starting at 15:00 and featuring music by Grupo da Alegria this is the chance to finish the weekend in style. Entrance fee €1.50.
