If you would have told me at the beginning of spring training that Mariners would be 3 games from the wild card and 9 games over .500 with 5 games left I would have taken it in a heartbeat. Yes the last 4 games have been extremely disappointing and embarrassing but this team still has done a remarkable turnaround. The difference between the 2009 team vs the 2014 team is youth. Kansas City last season was a breakout team on the bubble, now they are legitimate contenders. This team will only get better. I predicted 85 wins this season and with the right moves they can easily win 90. -JR
