Are you walking with your face aimed towards the coming of the Lord? This is the position of righteousness for the children of God looking for the eternal inheritance, no longer of the world nor fully engaged in those things which are passing away. Out of the overflow of the heart are the issues of life and living and so it is with the children of God. As the light of life begins to flow through our hearts and souls our gaze becomes fixed upon the things above, anxiously awaiting things to come while the temporal and elemental things lose value and place within our hearts! As our nature changes, so too does our desires, hopes, dreams, values, affections and all. In the salvation of the Lord our heads are made to raise upwards to the heavens to fix our eyes upon the things above no longer merely looking at our feet which touch the earth. Please realize saints that this is necessary towards the recovery of all things on earth to the Lord. The very longing for the Lord and His coming is that which also displaces all which is of the old creation and evil and corrupt. As the children of God turn to the Lord, the rulers, authorities and principalities lose their power and their place! As the nation of Israel was to displace the usurping kingdoms from the promised land, so too must the church become united as one in the body and with the Head. We have two eyes but can only fix our gaze upon one thing at a time. We have two ears but can only effectively listen to one conversation at a time. Do not let the world hold your gaze and take you captive from Christ. But turn always from these and unto the Lord within your spirit.
