Argument: Human beings are natural omnivores. Answer: Well, thats still up for debate, but lets assume youre correct. If we can survive and thrive without causing suffering to billions of our fellow beings, dont we have a moral imperative to do so? If the survival of our species, and indeed, many other species, relies on us adopting a vegetarian diet, then why would the pretext of tradition be substantial enough to justify our failure?
