Armin van Buuren thinks it’s time for a new number one in the DJ Mag Top 100. Although he thinks it’s time for another best DJ in the world, losing the title hurts a little anyway. “Secretly I’m very unfortunate. Everybody wants to be the best.” Despite possible giving up his number one position Armin remains realistic. “I can still call myself number two after I have been number one five times. The music develops further, there will be new talent. And I’m especially proud that the new number one is a Dutchman.” Hardwell will wait and see. “There is a lot of speculation, but I let it come down on me,” said the Dutchman. “We’ll see what happens Saturday.” Tiësto, DJ Mag Top 100 winner for three years, thinks the odds are in favor of Hardwell. Tiesto also agrees with Armin that it’s time for a new number one. “It is good for a new generation. I don’t have to go back to the number one spot.”
