Mark 14:36And he said,Abba Father,all things are possible unto thee;take away this cup from Me:nevertheless not what I will,but what thou wilt. (Read: Mark 14:32-39 ;Luke 22:39-44). Gethsemane is the place of prayer.It is the place where you pray as a warrior and your sweat drops to the ground.At the Garden of Eden the devil came as a spoiler.He caused Adam and Eve to sin.For this reason man was driven away from his place of glory.God made a long term plan to restore man to his lost glory.Jesus was at the centre of Gods plan.Jesus was destined to be sacrificed on the Cross and His blood made available for the remission of the sin of mankind. At the Garden of Gethsemane the devil made the last desparate attempt to ditch the plan of God.He knew that Jesus was the seed of the woman destined to bruise his heel and restore man to glory.He wanted Jesus to refuse to drink the cup that was prepared for Him from the beginning of ages.Jesus had to pray:Abba,Father,all things are possible unto thee take this cup from Me;nevertheless not what I will but what thou wilt(Mark 14:36). Gods will prevailed and Satan was defeated.Grace was made available for Jesus to bear the pains of death.Grace took Him to the Cross.Grace made Him to endure the agony and humiliation of the Cross.Grace made Him to freely give up the ghost(Luke 23:46).The victory of Gesthsemane was secured for you and me and the entire human race.It was at the expense of Christs suffering. The victory of Gethsemane brought salvation and eternal freedom to man but damnation to Satan and all his agents.The grace of God that made it possible is also available for you today only if you take a step of faith. PRAY THESE PRAYERS. *Thank You Father for making me a man/woman of prayer in Jesus name. *My Gethsemane of prayers open daily to receive me in the name of Jesus. *Thou angel that strengthened Jesus at Gethsemane,appeal to strengthen me in my hour of prayer in Jesus name. *By the power that defeated Satan at Gethsemane,I receive power to defeat the enemies of the fulfillment of my destiny in Jesus name. *O Lord,it is not thy my will but Your will that shall prevail in the name of Jesus. *At the hour of my agony O Lord,raise helpers to uphold me in prayers in the Jesus name. *As Jesus triumphed at Gethsemane,I shall triumph over my enemies in Jesus name. *By Christs victory at Gethsemane,I receive grace to endure my days of trial in the name of Jesus. *By faith,I receive victory sickness,failure,poverty,backwardness etc in Jesus name.
