Army Week Association would like for everyone to take a moment to pay respects to the amazing men of the Greatest Generation. Today is the 70th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge (WWII). 70 years ago today, 610,000 young American soldiers - some only 18 years old - fought the Nazis for over a month in the snow and frigid temperatures of France, Belgium and Luxembourg. It was the largest and bloodiest battle fought by the United States in World War II; troops were fatigued by weeks of continuous combat and dangerously depleted supplies. (Some men fought in only their socks and lost their feet to frost bite. Others were lost to hypothermia). If you get the chance, take a moment to watch a bit of the documentary and interviews from some of the soldiers below. https://youtube/watch?v=z6j_nop4wh0
