Arrival at Chinle In Globe she changes her car. She hires an old Ford Mustang and leaves her expensive looking clothes in the trunk of the SLK. Nobody knows who she really is in Chinle, except for Atse. Who has been contacted, on a rather brutal way, by some representatives of Randolphs Estate Security Team, with the message to stay out of the way of his daughter. What Atse has tried to do, by not reacting to Veronicas love attempts. But his strong hidden love for her has left an opening to contact him whenever she wants. She always stays at the local Best Western in Chinle. It is there where she makes a rendez-vous with Atse. Sitting at the table with a coffee, she sees an old Toyota truck turning on the parking lot. Atses old mans car. A big sun burned Navajo steps out of the car, broad shouldered and long black hair on his shoulders. Dark brown eyes. Veronicas heart bounces in overdrive. That is the man she wants. She keeps staring at the man who has learned her to ride horse as the best Amazon. She keeps staring at him with her beautiful hazel eyes until he stands before her. Time seems to have stopped. The always so controlled and cool future Rothschild leading lady melts before his eyes. As a little child she jumps around his neck. Atse takes her softly in his strong arms, knowing he is violating a promise given to her mighty father. She keeps him strong in her arms forgetting all her problems. Her head on his shoulder. Atse does not know how to react. The two girls behind the buffet look at him, knowing who he is, and who is girlfriend is.... veronicarothschild
