Arsenals Nicklas Bendtner a January target for Hull and Stoke as Gunners exit. Danish striker has failed to impress after returning to first team and Wenger could look to cash in during January window Heading out: Nicklas Bendtner could be on his way in January Nicklas Bendtner is set to leave Arsenal in January, with Hull and Stoke top of the list of suitors. The Danish striker will be out of contract at the end of the season and has yet to be offered a new deal at the Emirates. That has alerted both Steve Bruce at Hull and Mark Hughes at Stoke. Bruce has twice had Bendtner on loan – at Birmingham and then at Sunderland. Bendtner was a target for Crystal Palace in August but that broke down so he was drafted back into the Arsenal squad. He failed to impress against Chelsea in the Capital One Cup defeat last week, but Bruce has managed to bring the best out of the Dane and he could now be available at only £1million. Arsenal would rather cash in than allow him to leave on a free next summer. Hughes could also be interested at a knock-down price. Thoughts stokies? (MF)
