Art Challenge Gallery, an online art gallery promotes artists and challenges their creativity by offering two themed art challenges a month. Artists interpret the theme in their respective mediums and submit their artwork for posting on ACG. Each gallery is promoted in other online venues, giving artists a great deal of web precense. The annual Sun Art Challenge is a favorite. All of the submissions are sent to CBS News Sunday Morning to be considered for their sun art library. Once sent to the director, they choose suns to reflect moods and ideas expressed during the program. The past four years, ACG has sent about 80 sun art images to CBS News Sunday Morning. They have aired our suns about 50 times. Since CBS News Sunday Morning does not give artist credit for the sun images they select we at ACG diligently keep an eye out for our rising suns each week. Thanks to Evelyn Staub of Studio 14, Tipp City ACG’s artists have had their first brick and mortar exhibit of some of their sun art July 11, 2013 through September 1, 2013. ACG is own and published by Rusty Harden.
