As Bor youth in Australia ushers in 2015 with new leadership led by Majok Piel Mayen aka Kijana Ali Piel, few remarks need be stated about the outgoing leadership in the person of John Madol Chie or John Chiek. A christmatic leader he is! John and his team did what peoples leadership could do at testing time. There were times most of us would want chock the organisation to death out of personal differences and John kept the lead. Insults were hurled at him and the gentleman didnt loss focus. I observed he is a gentleman with great gentleness. A rare character that kept him ahead of his game and eventually endured some awful nonentities. Thanks to previous presidents namely, Mawut Biar, Panchol Jook and John Madol. You all have given your time and energy to serve this great community on dole basis and I think you deserve some honour. I must mention a towering figure who helped at the initial formation of this organisation and we lost him defending our people from Rieks usual aggression at us. Capt Mach Achuek Mach (RIP) would be a happy man if we keep this organisation intact and functioning. Goodnite folks and best of luck in your new role #Kijana. Involve and consult with your people and you wont go wrong.
