As I reflect on my day, I realize that although the last few months have been stressful, that I am blessed to have encountered so many wonderful students, families, and teachers during my time at Colonial Forge! This morning (yes, an early Monday morning), I was blessed with a beautiful card, flower arrangement, and gift that turned my day around. I walked in this morning knowing that it was going to be a rough day and this young man walked in with a smile and turned the rest of my day around. I thank all of the families, students, and cohorts that have made my job worth doing. I am so blessed that I have the ability and means to stay home and care for my first grandchild, but I am truly going to miss everything about my time at Forge! It is so amazing how its the simple things that matter....
