As I reflect on this past year and getting myself ready for the - TopicsExpress

As I reflect on this past year and getting myself ready for the journey of my life, I am humbled by all the love and support I have received. I have overcome some huge hurdles to get to this point! Anger, depression, financial stress, ending of a relationship, losing my home, giving up Daisy to name the big one. Where I am at now as compared to a year ago, is amazing! I have a lot to be thankful for and so many of you have helped to make this celebration of my victories possible. This ride is symbolic of everything I have been striving for over the past year. Getting my life back and showing myself that if I put my mind to it, I can accomplish just about anything! I know my emotions will be running high as I journey these 545 miles by bike from San Francisco to LA. I will be posting updates on my progress and posting pictures as often as I can! I know it will not let me tag all of you, but I want to list everyone that has played a roll in getting me here! I have managed to raise $3,850 for the AIDS/Lifecycle ride! Exceeding my goal by $350! As a team we have raised over $91,000 this year, and it doesnt look like its going to stop quite yet! I want to start off with Edward Edwards and Thom Burkett... You guys were my first donation and got me off the ground running! Jon-Michael Vassilev, your team leadership in getting everyone together and organizing some amazing training rides has been spectacular. Michael Melott-Baker, you have made this ride so much better letting me use your extra bike and borrow luggage. Carol Colburn (Mom), I love you and you mean the world to me, and all the love and support you have given me as I deal with my diagnoses has meant so much! Jenny Kramer Wheeler, thanks to you and Quinn for taking care of Lucille while I am gone. Lorne S Hobbs, thank you for your donations and feeding the fish while I am gone! David White, you were an amazing person to share my first Century Ride with, and helping me with my bike was just the icing on the cake! Michael Ross Steffen for convincing me to try a short sale again, and helping with my yard work! I know this short sale is in good hands while I am gone! Michelle Hoffer for the amazing bag and treats for my bike! Jonathan Loyola for being a great friend and being key in trying to make Zombie Prom happen... It will happen just wasnt meant to be this year! The Dom and Jane Show and Mix 100 for Co-Worker cash, which without those winnings, there is now way I would have had the money to go on this trip at all! To all my donors, you are all fantastic!
