As I sit and sip on a Starbucks espresso and read up on world news I find myself wondering how much longer the commercialized media can keep my peers sidetracked from the reality that awaits them. I see fellow students watching online comedy shows, texting their friends about what parties to attend and even sleeping on the lounge chair next to me. How am I supposed to feel content and protected knowing this nation is on brink of war and the rising generation is completely unaware of it. The question right now is not how to avoid war...it should be how to prepare for it. If the United States and Nato cut investments to the Russian energy market inflation is inevitable and thus the economy will once again be a wreck. People are set on this idea that everything will correct itself well sorry to tell you thats beyond a fantasy at this point. What bothers me most is that what our elders went through in the economic crisis of 2007 and 2008 should be a prime example that this theory is farthest from the truth. China has invested billions in Russian energy and Russia will not fold so easily. Not only will this be an economic battle amongst super powers, but it can easily ruin the lives of daily Americans as we know it. I hope for my countries sake I am wrong and Russia will give in because I am in fear of what the repercussions will be for us if they do not. All I know is I will take every free second I get to make sure Im up to date with the news and where the world is and not worry about the next video game coming out a month from now. I advise my friends to do the same. PREPARE yourself with knowledge to create wisdom in what to do in case another crisis comes. Dont panic...make smart investment choices and read up on your history and current situations. If this nation is to survive any type of war we must educate ourselves so we dont make the same mistakes our past generations have. College is the greatest thing to happen to me because I now have a third eye that sees beyond the commercial blockades society places in front of reality and am ready for whatever awaits me in the future. PLEASE WAKE UP AND READ UP ON THE NEWS AND WHAT IS GOING ON!!! WHETHER MY PREDICTION IS RIGHT OR WRONG TIMES WILL CHANGE AND CRISISS WILL HAPPEN...THEY ARE INEVITABLE!!! WE MUST PREPARE AND BECOME KNOWLEDGABLE ABOUT WHAT IS GLOBAL!!!! JUST KEEPING OUR MINDS WITHIN WHAT HAPPENS IN THE COMMERCIALIZED AMERICAN BORDERS IS NOTHING BUT A FALSE REALITY...THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER IS THIS WORLD IS NOW ONE ECONOMY AND EACH POWER IS TRYING TO GRAB THE BIGGEST PIECE OF THE PIE...NOBODY IS GOING TO FOLD UNTIL WE ARE IN COMPLETE TURMOIL...DONT ALLOW YOURSELF TO FALL UNDER PRESSURE...AND YOU WONT IF YOU PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THE WORST...SO MY ADVICE IS TO READ,READ, READ UP ON YOUR HISTORY AND CURRENT EVENTS!!! IT WILL ONLY BENEFIT YOU IN THE LONG RUN!
