As I sit here, I think about the long journey I have traveled this last year. Its been something of a story to tell, living it was another experience. This next year I choose not to have a resolution, I choose to do one thing and one thing only and thats to continue my imperfect walk with my father in heaven. If you dont know my story it was one of absolute rock bottom but he reached down and grab me and pulled me out those deep depths. I have come a ways and have a long way ahead of me. You all will be tested, challenged from every angle..... dont give up, keep pushing for better. Dont ever settle for less, but while doing this try to never compromise your character while working for the best. This year I challenge you to do great things.....yea graduating, getting a new job yea that great even having a kid thats awesome. But to me that doesnt hold as much importance as this.... buying a meal for the homeless without volunteering, help someone else find a job after youve gotten yours. We need each other. If we didnt there would only be an Adam and no Eve. ..GET IT!!! we have to help the men and women to either side of us, and not because its the right thing to do because if you havent figured out yet right and wrongs break down to a difference of perspective. Be there for them because you may be in the same situation. Im tired of all the waring with each other. Love each other. Help your fellow man. Help preserve life in a positive manner for our children because they are our future. This year, BE BETTER, BE PRODUCTIVE, and BE ADAPTABLE TO CHANGE..... because the only thing in life that is constant is change.
