Growing up society would say that we were poor, my sister and I...daughters of a single parent when divorce was far from the norm. Raised on welfare by someone with just an 8th grade education, Lin and I SHOULD have been just another statistic. Instead Mom did the one thing she did know how to do, the one thing that has ETERNAL value beyond measure,,,she pointed us to Jesus. As she told me in the wee hours yesterday morning Jesus is all that matters. Shes got it right...He is all that matters. Because of this faith that she had, WE, her family, are rich beyond measure.
