As I sit in my warm house I am reminded what Veteran Day is really about. I am free to celebrate today with the freedom of democracy, freedom of speech, freedom of religion because many men and women have fought and some have died for it. They have left the comforts of their homes, their families, to go to distance shore to fight. Our United States was founded by the courageous men and women who fought so much to find the freedoms we love and take for granted. So today remember those who so tirelessly have served or are serving. These men and women deserve more than our society belly aching over their pay, their benefits, or whatever else they decide to complain about. They deserve our deepest gratitude and thanks for our freedom that they serve to defend. So not just today but anytime you see a service member take the few seconds out of your day to say Thanks for your service.
