Unfortunately the State Department has released its final Environmental Impact Statement concerning the Keystone XL Pipeline and has stated that building the pipeline will not significantly impact global climate change which is basically a recommendation that the President approve the project. Multiple environmental groups are calling for vigils across the county to oppose the pipeline. Here is the San Diego event information.
