As I think many of you know, my father passed away suddenly a month ago today. What you dont know is that my dad battled lymphoma 10 years ago and thrived. He unfortunately passed away before the diagnosis could be made this time. He appeared to have developed another aggressive lymphoma which claimed his life. Ive been a supporter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for 10 years now. I have signed up to participate in the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Societys Team In Training hiking program. Next June Ill be joining with others hiking in Yosemite in memory of my dad. I feel the need to do this to help me grieve. I have a high goal to reach before then.
