As I walked and prayed The Lord began dealing with me about an issue that has caused me great pain. Honestly, I had tried to leave it behind me and move on but it seemed the pain continued to resurface. Then as I prayed the Lord seemed to say to me that trying to escape the pain would not take it away but facing and conquering the pain would. So I told the Lord that if given another chance to face it I would and, with His strength and grace, conquer it. Then, I could truly move on with life. Amazingly, after making this decision the Lord provided a very special opportunity to follow through with the decision. I am trusting the Lord to help me be and do what I know His Spirit is leading me to do. Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee;yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. When Jacob was returning to his homeland, he greatly feared Esau but in order to fulfill Gods purpose for His life, facing Esau was exactly what He had to do. Sometimes we must face our fears and our pain before we can move on to Bethel.
