As I watched this, I could not help but ask myself, HOW does she know? Is it a RATIONAL behavior of her own thought? Mmmmmm. Lets see now. I will bury my young to protect them from predators, dig them out to feed them and cover them back up. Yeah, thats a good idea. Is it something LEARNED? Is there a school in Rabbit Town where you go to be taught such things? Is it INSTINCT? Well, maybe. But what is that? Is it some genetic computer program that directs mother rabbits in what to do? If so, WHO wrote the program? It evolved, some might say. But, how could it? From what prior behavior and how many rabbits became extinct before it did? I really dont know the answer. Except that, I think maybe rabbits....and squirrels.....and birds.....are somehow CONNECTED to something that TELLS them what to do in order to survive. Its that little voice in the back of their head. And, its NOT telling them to buy insurance. I believe that WE have it, too. If only we could put aside our ego long enough to listen. If only, we could cast off the opinions and teachings of OTHER men. Do we really need them to KNOW whats right? Do we really need some other man - preacher or politician, government or church - to TELL us how to act, how to behave, what and how to think? How is it that we elevate THEIR thoughts before our own - ahead of that little voice? We are guided by consensus of society, rather that the truths of natures law. We are the ONLY species that aborts itself. The ONLY species that chooses to mate with unlike kind. The ONLY species that kills for the pleasure of it. The ONLY species that refuses to share and seeks to conquer the world. The ONLY species that seeks to accumulate that which is not theirs ...... and egotistically seeks wealth and power and glory. Our thinking has become DISCONNECTED from that Source of all knowledge. That SAME source that rightly tells a mother rabbit what to do. Think about these words and watch this video. And then, tell me there is NO God and its not speaking to you. :-<
