As MSMS Secretary for 9 years now (total of 20 plus years at MSCS), I try to have any and all information for any question that may need an answer to help things run smoothly between the staff, the students and their families. But Tuesday, there was a comment about a Wednesday, Pot Luck lunch and...Im like, What Pot Luck, I didnt hear anything about a Pot Luck? There was some suspicious happenings and I thought I was really losing my touch, like I must have missed the memo. But then another staff member said she didnt know of any Pot Luck either and invited me to a Subway lunch with her on Wednesday, so I kind of forgot all about it. There was a little more suspicious activity and sly grins and wishes of Have a fun day and food coming in through the office and another comment from a co-worker, I cant talk to you...Im going to have to hang up on you. and I think I really have lost my touch here. Then the call to the second floor to fix a copier which isnt that unusual lately and a walk to another classroom and SURPRISE! My wonderful co-workers who I consider like family, HAS planned a Pot Luck....for me.... to help me celebrate my upcoming retirement!!! Lots of delicious food and a heartwarming gift, beautiful fall centerpiece and hugs later....lets just say...it will be hard to top that! Great job Morley Stanwood Middle School staff! You kept a pretty good secret! I love you all!
