The next surah in the order of the Quran that deals with a woman is surah At-Takwir: Part 3 Surah: 81 Aya: 7-9 And when the souls are paired And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked For what sin she was killed Many of us are not privy to the reality, of the meaning, to these few verses and their history in Islam. During this period, Allah was not checking the people of the community and their behavior …..Until these verses are revealed about burying the female infants alive. Now Allah is beginning the process of showing the people that he knows there inner most secrets, fears and shame. Allah is revealing their deepest sickness and He is using the destruction of the Sun, Stars, Mountains, She-Camels, Wild Beasts, Seas and Souls as a symbol of the last day and it horrific destruction along with the female infants being buried alive, to stress the importance of how much He hated the act by the oppressors. While all of those things will be happening, the abusers, oppressors and murderers of women and girls will be dragged forward and the female infant will be asked…”Who buried you?” Can you imagine the other questions that will follow? Who denied you the right to learn my Word? Who denied you the right to teach my Word? Who denied you the right to go out into my World and serve My Will? Who beat you for wanting to come to my House to Pray and serve Me? Bukhari :: Book 3 :: Volume 41 :: Hadith 591 Narrated Al-Mughira bin Shuba: The Prophet said, Allah has forbidden for you, (1) to be undutiful to your mothers, (2) to bury your daughters alive, (3) to not to pay the rights of the others (e.g. charity, etc.) and (4) to beg of men (begging). And Allah has hated for you (1) vain, useless talk, or that you talk too much about others, (2) to ask too many questions, (in disputed religious matters) and (3) to waste the wealth (by extravagance). Dawud :: Book 41 : Hadith 5127 Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: If anyone has a female child, and does not bury her alive, or slight her, or prefer his children (i.e. the male ones) to her, Allah will bring him into Paradise. Uthman did not mention male children.
