As We celebrate #Autism Awareness Month.... and #ColorTheWorld to support all parts of the Spectrum. Autism means nothing to some.... other then an annoying posts about Autism Awareness. But to some of us.... Autism is our world. We live this every day. I was blessed with the most Amazing girls. They are more then their diagnosis. They are Beautiful, Loving, Compassionate, and quick to laugh. The road wasnt easy... but what an adventure. I have the greatest support system and the greatest friends. Yall know who you are. There is a list at least a mile long. I cant Thank all of you enough.... and Thank you seems so small... for how much emotion is swelling up in my heart. Do yourself a favor..... the next time you see a child having a fit... think about this.... this would be a child with Autism... this child isnt giving a hard time.... this child IS having a hard time. So before the judgement on how that child is acting.... stop and offer a smile to the patent. That smile to me says,Its OK I understand . Before you whisper and stare at the child having a meltdown and the mom/dad looks like they are at the end of their rope... ask them if you can help. The more Awareness for Autism ... the better We as a society will understand.
