As a Born Again Believer, you should know that Nothing that is not in Gods permissive or perfect Will can come into your life. This one fact alone, is enough to make our lives one of Ceaseless thanksgiving and joy. For Gods Loving Will is the one hopeful, glad, and glorious thing in the world; and it is working all of the time for us, and nothing can prevent it, as Born Again Believers. John 19:1-15 Pilate then took Jesus and scourged Him. 2 And the soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on His head, and put a purple robe on Him; 3 and they began to come up to Him and say, Hail, King of the Jews! and to give Him slaps in the face. 4 Pilate came out again and said to them, Behold, I am bringing Him out to you so that you may know that I find no guilt in Him. 5 Jesus then came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. Pilate said to them, Behold, the Man! 6 So when the chief priests and the officers saw Him, they cried out saying, Crucify, crucify! Pilate said to them, Take Him yourselves and crucify Him, for I find no guilt in Him. 7 The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by that law He ought to die because He made Himself out to be the Son of God. 8 Therefore when Pilate heard this statement, he was even more afraid; 9 and he entered into the Praetorium again and said to Jesus, Where are You from? But Jesus gave him no answer. 10 So Pilate said to Him, You do not speak to me? Do You not know that I have authority to release You, and I have authority to crucify You? 11 Jesus answered, You would have no authority over Me, unless it had been given you from above; for this reason he who delivered Me to you has the greater sin. 12 As a result of this Pilate made efforts to release Him, but the Jews cried out saying, If you release this Man, you are no friend of Caesar; everyone who makes himself out to be a king opposes Caesar. 13 Therefore when Pilate heard these words, he brought Jesus out, and sat down on the judgment seat at a place called The Pavement, but in Hebrew, Gabbatha. 14 Now it was the day of preparation for the Passover; it was about the sixth hour. And he said to the Jews, Behold, your King! 15 So they cried out, Away with Him, away with Him, crucify Him! Pilate said to them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. Anyone who is going through a hard time in this world, and Jesus certainly was in the scripture above, has to remember that as a Born Again Believer. NOTHING can come to you, unless it comes through Gods Perfect or Permissive Loving Will! This shows us that, in verse 11 above. And to confirm it we go to John 10:14-18...14 I (Jesus) am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me, 15 even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. 16 I have other sheep, which are not of this fold (speaking of the Gentiles that come by Faith); I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd. (then Jews and Gentiles will come together with only Jesus as our Lord, in the Body of Christ) 17 For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I may take it again. 18 NOTE: No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own initiative. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This commandment I received from My Father. Someone once said....Is it not a glorious thing to know that, no difference how unjust a thing may be, or how absolutely it may seem to be from Satan, by the time it reaches US it is Gods will for us, and He will work It for good to us? For all things work together for good to us, as Born Again Believers, who love God and are called according to His Will. And even of His betrayal, Christ said, The cup which my Father gave me, shall I not drink it? Jesus is teaching us, that as we live in this world, many things will happen to us and come against us. We cannot and will not understand most of them. But we are to receive them, knowing that whatever it is, it has come through Gods Perfect or Permissive Will for our lives. Submitting ourselves to it, with joy and thanksgiving, knowing it is for our good from God. So then, we live charmed lives, as Born Again Believers, living in the center of Gods will and His Love. All the attacks that Satan and his evil ones, even coming through other peoples sins, are not only powerless to harm us, but are Turned into Blessings for us, On the way to us, through Gods Loving Will for our lives.
