As a Civil Servant (who depends on these 911 dispatchers to get us to Calls and make sure were safe and have help if we need it) I feel Tasha was one of our best Dispatchers she knew how to do her job well and she cares about the people shes dispatching for. She has worked at dispatch for a long time and knows the job inside and out. You cant just train anyone anytime to know how to do that job and do it well. I seem to recall that a former dispatcher that lost his job petitioned for it back and got a second chance then quit. If we can give him a second chance I dont see why we cant give a seasoned, experienced dispatcher a second chance.Tasha admitted that she made a mistake. It takes a big person to accept and admit that. Tasha is a straightforward person who tells it like it is and stands for what she believes in regardless of who agrees with it and Some people dont like that but you at least have to respect it. So I say give her another chance and you guys better crank down on those policies because I guarantee that everyone in there has been guilty of breaking policy at least once. She and all of our Dispatchers are essential to the safety and function of this county. We need all the experienced people we can get.
