As a concept artist - that often designs imaginary technology - Im constantly pondering THIS: i.imgur/rRNqOgJ.jpg Does the technology not just disappear in another 25-30 years? Where does it go, inside us? Or do processors and devices become a part of our environment, so theyre always around us, and we can activate them at any time? Given our growing control over bio-engineering and knowledge of our DNA chain, dont we start integrating these things in to the human body? Given our growing control over advanced materials, wouldnt that start changing the shape of said devices? Why do we need all these boxes and pieces of metal? Wouldnt the most advanced piece of hardware simply grow or mold itself in to the shape it needs to be? This is what comes to mind when I sit down to draw a cool device.
