As a critic of PTI antics, I am not going to derive any pleasure out of what happened with IK today, unlike PTI folk who jump at every chance they get to do the same to others, I almost feel sorry for him to be honest. He has already lost my vote on political preferences and bad political timing and now also on the basis of human decency after his callous mockery in the latest press conference as well as his right hand men engaging in physical and verbal abuse with the aggrieved parents. I mean seriously? ANP and PMLn that you claim are hardly capable of doing anything else in the country had the nerve to plant these parents to protest and sabotage IKs visit to APS? Just like they cleverly planted Javed Hashmi? And you say you fail to understand why these parents are even protesting? Just like you fail to understand why you needed to go to parliament and to vote on military courts against terrorism? And you say youre just a figure-head who has nothing to do with KP government?? I am not the one blaming PTI for being taliban apologists, its the victims families, the families that voted for you and now want answers. I strongly support that CM Khattak is not responsible for the deaths, but do you understand why CM Shahbaz is held accountable and you want nothing short of his resignation? Similarly, I strongly believe Reham Khan deserves respect as the family member of a public figure and leader, but do you understand why Nawaz Sharif, Mariam Nawaz, Benazir Bhutto, Bilawal, Marvi Memon, Pervez Khattak deserve the same respect and freedom from personal attacks? I also agree to say not to vip culture but strongly agree that leaders need to be provided with security and protocol, it would make sense to stop criticizing others for doing the same yourself. When it comes to a time for nationwide mourning, a 70-course meal screams pseudo-solidarity but then how is Valima ka khana any different in the eyes of people who are still mourning and allowing their circumstances to be used by you to create a perpetual doomsday scenario otherwise? I only have a humble request for PTI folk and IK to turn the denial and arrogance down a notch and actually start performing in the province where they have formed government. By god we critics desperately want to be proven wrong, by your performance, and not your explanations and justifications over social media and certainly not by your street muscle. The negative and selfish politics and the blame game needs to stop before we face any more irreparable losses. Loyalty towards your political affiliation is good, but please dont force that loyalty upon others and be very clear whether you want to stick to loyalty or principled arguments. I for one would certainly like to learn to target arguments instead of individuals in all this back and forth going on. If anyone had time to go through my rant, please DONT feel free to leave a comment, weve been over this before, im not looking for unnecessary debate on facebook, as intelligent as it may be, im simply not in the mood for one after watching what those parents are going through. Just please stop mocking them or scoring political points over their dead children.
