As a former pilot and commuter who spent many hours in the cockpit - TopicsExpress

As a former pilot and commuter who spent many hours in the cockpit of big jets, I can tell you that this one is puzzling everybody in the aviation community, including friends who are flying the 777. There are three possibilities, analytically. 1. A terrorism act (bombing, hijack/hostage situation) 2. Aircraft failure (structural, navigation, pressurization, etc.) 3. A combination of 1 and 2. So, is either 1: terrorism causing intentional structural damage or deviation of aircraft, or 2 aircraft accidental failure. 1 and 2 could have happened individually. Or 3 this could have been a hijacking/terrorism act gone wrong, botched; in other words 2 a result of 1. If the aircraft plunged straight down somewhere it wouldnt necessarily leave a large crash profile. There have been crashes that have hardly left a debris field (9/11 Pennsylvania crash; Air Florida in the Everglades). If the aircraft was hijacked there should already been claims, unless the hijacking went wrong. If it went down on the ocean, eventually debris will show up. It is possible, thought improbable that it may have landed in water and submerged intact (it has happened). Im inclining to also believe in this possibility (see link below). But whether it was man-made or spontaneous failure is yet to be seen. mh370lost.tumblr/?og=1
