As a group of concerned Eritrean citizens who would like to have constructive dialogue about how we can create a bright future for our country and our people. The Tragedy at Lampedusa has to serve as a turning point, silence in the face of such continued tragedies and obvious hardships in our country is a betrayal of our people and our duties as citizens. Join us in this conversation. As citizens of Eritrea participation in our countrys governance and future is not just our right, it is our collective duty too. Concerned about the scale of youth flight from Eritrea, their plight afterwards and the consequent agony befalling our people, we have called on the state and government of Eritrea to take immediate and effective action to halt the tragedy.
