As a kid, my answer to the question What country do you want to travel to? was... 1. Anywhere in South America (this was an answer in a class in middle school when I felt like I wanted to come up with an answer that no one in class hadnt come up yet)... 2. The UK (and many other developed countries; since convenience was more important for me than adventures)... 3. France (of course sounded cool) And as I got older, things started to change... 4. Greece (when that Santorini thingy was in vogue) 5. Kenya (what was the name of that zoo? Or safari?) As more time passed by, I realized traveling to places where my friends call home is the most wonderful thing... That week-long stay in Bangkok, Thailand was just awesome and traveling around Osaka with a friend of mine whose fluent Japanese allowed me to do nothing but enjoy were some of the most cherishable memories... I dont know when again I can find time to travel just for pleasure but someday... I hope I can travel again... --- A facebook post written while i was stuck at school ;)
