As a little girl I learned about Air Raid Drills and heard the siren at 1:00 PM every Saturday. There was always an underlying fear/threat of an attack. Growing up and never having experienced an attack made me complacent and the fear dissipated. I heard the sirens but just thought about the time of day. And one day I realized there was no Saturday siren! Then came 9/11!! It shook my faith and brought a little fear! An attack! Here? But I have faith in God and I believe in my country! Im not fearful. Our country isnt perfect but I feel perfectly safe believing that America will defend us with all that it has (against war and terrorism...lol). Happy 9/11!!!!!!
