As a member of the general ignorant, I would like to make a suggestion. I have been enthused to find this group and to identify with people that are asking, and answering questions that I have been considering with regard to this town. Could I suggest that your group has an advocate to communicate between the public and those more established in local council etc... I would like to comment on things and I feel that it is important to your group to heard the distorted interpretations of we the general ignorant...our opinions are based on the information that we find available, often very limited information. I would rather not find that my opinions are not appropriate...if I am misguided or not factually correct, this forum and and advocate working for all peoples best interests could clear the fog between council and the public. The strength of this group would surely come from eliminating the need for some subjects to be discussed behind closed doors? If a subject is considered too complicated or sensitive, explain it. We are here to listen and learn. Public forums although abused on a daily basis can be a fantastic communication tool, one that could be used to educate myself and other members of the general ignorant. Perhaps an individual whose responsibility was to put town business into laymans terms could bridge an age old divide? With kind regards, Paul Gibbons
