As a parent I am sooooo grateful to my mum for helping me to become as open and as honest toward my daughter as I possibly can. Working toward the path of becoming a Foster Care parent the one thing that most important to all children is for them to learn about, accept & cope with their true identity without false or hidden agenda. This should be the same for ALL children. How can a child truly grow up to know who they are and where they come from if people hide the identity of their past or the past of their families? I strongly believe I was born to be this person, because before learning all this I was already doing this with my own beautiful girl, who is just as excited than me to help these kids. I cant wait for this journey to truly start, I know I have an awesome guidance councillor in Bernadette & the great support of my hubby & daughter who know every bit of truth about me, my family, which in turn will help us to truly be of great support to whoever comes into our lives. Man Im excited 😄
