As a reminder, tomorrow is National Dog Day and the end of our employee pet photo postings. So if you have not liked any yet, it isnt too late to help out our local animal shelters. Today we are spotlighting the small and the tall. At just 8 weeks old Toby, and his two sisters, made a very long trip to Vermont from the South. It was a Wednesday when they were put up for adoption through the Rutland County Humane Society and by noon all three pups had found new homes. The smiles say it all (Toby at 10 weeks old and 2 years). Mr. Watson was picked out of a litter by a woman who just 2 weeks later found out she had terminal cancer. The unfortunate medical situation sadly forced her to return him. When our employee heard Mr. Watsons story she came to his rescue and took him into her home. Now 16 months old, this big guy is right at home.
