As a veteran on Veterans Day, Id like to share some of the most - TopicsExpress

As a veteran on Veterans Day, Id like to share some of the most valuable lessons the military has taught me over the last 7 years... A leader who is afraid to make the hard decision is no leader at all . No one is perfect and makes the correct decision every time. The key is to know why you made the decision, right or wrong, and to not be afraid to be wrong, there is not a more effective way to learn than making a mistake. Everything you do, do it as if others lives depend on it . If we all take this kind of care to all of our actions, the power that well yield will be equivalent to the power of the United States military, enough said. No one is above or better than any job . I appreciate Jeff Rowe for pointing out that my generation is full of dreamers, to a fault. We have allowed ourselves to be fooled into thinking jobs at Wal-Mart and McDonalds are for other people, that only high school dropouts are fit to be plumbers and electricians... after all, they didnt get into college. Basic jobs and the experts that hold them lay the groundwork for everything our military can and does accomplish, and no one is above becoming an expert at cleaning latrines, crawling around in the mud, or looking out for their battle buddies- whatever position that might put you in! To all my fellow veterans, this day is for you, thank you. And to all others, thank you for your support. Happy Veterans Day
