As believers, our faith is often tested sometimes to unimaginable degrees (insert now), but God always finds ways to remind us that He is with us and that He loves us. I wish I had kept a journal along the way to keep track of those moments. Like meeting a stranger in Brownsville who randomly shared her healing from cancer, not even knowing what was going on in my world. God has used so many people, near and far, known and unknown, to bless us from the time this began in August! I was brought to tears when I was in line to get a coffee today as I opened Facebook and saw the recent update/goal that Jonathan set was reached within a few hours. I struggled to even get my coffee order out through the tears, which made the sweet lady not even charge me. (I might have to try that one again. Haha) Anyways, we are so humbled and forever grateful! Update on Sam - his swelling continues to be worrisome to the doctors, as it is causing more pain for Sam. Many doctors are meeting now to discuss a possible surgery to relieve the swelling before starting chemo. Also they informed us that his tumor has an air pocket inside of it, which has NEVER been seen before. But we remind ourselves that even if the doctors are stumped, God is NOT! On a side note, what a perfect nap time with my two loves!
