This whole media blitz on the Ray Rice situation is getting old. Yes, what he did was wrong, but the steady stream of conflicting PR bullshit is wrong too. This morning the media is showing a letter from the NFL commissioner to Ray Rice stating that the video shows a starkly different series of events than were described in the interview. Meanwhile, just yesterday, Ozzie Newsome said that the story Ray told the Ravens management was in line with the video. Heres an idea for everyone. Just shut up about it and let it go for now. Get your collective PR ass covering stories straight and get back to us later. What I see now is a bunch of greedy people clamoring to protect the golden goose that is the NFL. Face it, Roger, ya screwed this one up real good. On another note, Ray has somehow now become the poster boy for domestic violence, even though some of his teammates have done far worse. Are we all happy yet? He has been subject to public trial since February, cut by his team, banned from his profession, disowned by his college, and even had his jerseys taken down from his high school! Will we all be satisfied when all of this finally breaks him and he kills himself? Would a public execution make it all better? Where does it end???
