As hundred of millions diverted somewhere else…. Cline Town MP to account for Community Funds By Sall Tee Jay Investigation mounted within the Cline Town Community has unearthed that the Member of Parliament for Constituency 103, Hon .Rosaline Jariatu K. Smith , is allegedly reported to have received huge amount of monies from companies operating within the locality on behalf of the community without any tangible development. Hon. J.K is among the batch of parliamentarians elected during the 2012 Elections and her representation in parliament over the past years has been more of a disgrace to the people of Cline town Community, if not the entire constituency 103. Since elected into the house of parliament, Hon. JK has nothing to point at as an achievement or development for the people of Cline Town but is fond of dressing herself in borrowed ropes as if she had been doing a lot. It is understood that since elected to parliament the member of parliament is allegedly reported to have collected huge amount of monies from LEOCEM Factory, Bollore Africa Logistics and other companies operating within the Cline town Locality but that all those monies collected are not reflected towards the community. This has therefore raise a public eyebrow that community stakeholders this time round want to come out loud expressing their frustration and anger over the way and manner the member of parliament is allegedly exploiting resources belonging to the community. A cross section of APC Party supporters at Cline town have expressed resentment over the way and manner the member of parliament is diverting funds meant for Cline town to other communities and therefore saw it as a political dishonesty. At a time during her campaign trail, Hon JK promised her constituents at cline town that if elected into parliament she will ensure that the community ‘s need be address but for the past two years her promise and bogus manifestoes remain a white elephant with no achievement so ever to point at. Very recently a source from Leocem disclosed to this writer that the member of parliament had received an amount of twenty five thousand United States Dollars equivalent to over One Hundred and Twenty Million Leones as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility to the community. What remain unclear is that the member of parliament has failed to inform the community about the monies received and therefore there is public concern to know the status of the said amount. Another source from Bollore also intimated this writer that the company is providing many supports to the community through the member of parliament. The source further that scholarship and other assistants are being rendered to the community through the member of parliament but that none of such support has reach the hands of community stakeholders. Another burning issue that is very frustrating to the community is that since the outbreak of the Ebola the member of parliament has done nothing like massive sensitization or like providing Ebola prevention materials like veronica bucket, thermometer etc while other communities are benefiting such facilities from their sitting member of parliament. In an interviewed with Hon. J. K via a text message she responded that she had been doing a lot for the community citing the construction of a school toilets, taps, and other development. ‘’I am surprised to learn that issue of this nature are coming up when I have been doing so many things for the community’’ the member of parliament replied to this writer via a text message. Hon JK admitted to have received the money from Leocem but said no sooner she received it she did entrusted the money into the hands of community stakeholders but refuse to name names. She also explained in her text to have championed many projects for the community which are not seen stating that she normally award scholarship to school going pupils and that she also fed five hundred children with food during a particular day a year.
