As it is, I think Labour will win a small majority in May or at least be the biggest party and have to govern with the Lib Dems who hold onto their seats in the South West. I think the tide of opinion in Middle England has turned gently against the Ultra Thatcherite revolution as the swing voters mind turns to holding the UK together as a political and economic entity. A Tory victory, it is clear to many, would result in the break up of the Union and mass civil unrest. So much the better some might say, but personally Im hoping that I am right and that Labour gets in and stays in.
