As many of our Facebook friends and guest know, we hold a Surfers Healing event here every year. It is the most gratifying event of the season for us. Our great friend Matt Romanowski is a volunteer for the event as well as a Castle regular. Here is a note Matt is circulating to help Surfers Healing. We thank you for your consideration. Aloha... Hope all is well. I am raising money again for Surfers Healing, a foundation for Autism which holds Surf Camps for Children with Autism. After riding his first wave little 5 year old Noah screamed to his mother “Again Again Again”. His mother’s face red from the morning sun began to slowly turn pale white, as tears began to fill her eyes she realized that, that moment was the single greatest moment in her life. A young mother and her son had experienced a day of firsts... The First time Noah surfed a wave and the first time his mother watched her son brave anything so bold. When Noah jumped off the board and screamed with excitement “Again Again Again” those were the first 3 words little Noah ever spoke and those were the first 3 words Noah’s mom ever heard him speak. This is a day Noah and his Mother will never forget.
