As many of you know, much of my time of late - especially this past year - has been focused on assisting my ill and elderly father. It was with great sadness that, on the second day of the new year, we saw him leave this life of disease and confusion, but with great relief that his passing means peace for him, and for our family. While my parents spent very little time with the Society, they were supportive of my involvement, and were even unseen hosts to our efforts, opening their homestead in support of the training and entertainment of the archers, knife throwers, and ax throwers of the barony and canton. My fathers decline was made easier with the support of our many friends and colleagues, and these recent days bearable only with your support. I will strive to personally thank everyone who lent their words of support, positive thoughts, and prayers, but, for now, accept these poor words of thanks and know that I hold you in high regard, and close to heart. Domo arigato gozaimasu.
