As many of you know, the Sears Crosstown Building is soon to be forever changed. Crosstown Arts is looking to document the building as it currently stands before it is too late. We are looking to take a limited number of professional video shooters and photographers into the building for a last look at its current state on Saturday, May 31st. If you have always been interested in going into the building, are looking for a chance to get great footage for your urban spelunking doc or simply want to do Crosstown Arts the great favor of lending us your talents for an afternoon, this is your chance. The tentative plan is to head into the building in the late afternoon and spend a few hours getting great footage. After, we will head back across the street to the current Crosstown Arts space and enjoy some great food and beer while we copy the footage over. Folks with sliders and jibs and a great eye for capturing decaying architecture would be appreciated.
