As many of you may know, George Osborne has proposed a tax relief to encourage theatre production across the UK and provide strong incentive for touring productions. He has stated that ”relief will be available for a wide range of theatre and performance, supporting plays, musicals, opera, ballet and dance” but circus is conspicuous by its absence.
