As many of you will no doubt already be aware, booking opened this morning for the Edinburgh International Book Festival - and unsurprisingly its EXTREMELY busy! Book Fest staff will be working very hard and very fast to try to help everyone as quickly as possible, but inevitably the high demand will mean that bookers should probably expect a wait. The very high demand for some events also means that tickets will run out in some cases. The latest info we have on sellout shows (based on the EIBF twitter feed) is as follows (every effort made to ensure accuracy, but in a busy and changing situation, this list should only be taken as a guide): [Updated 11.55am] 9/8/14 Totseats Are You Sitting Comfortably - SOLD OUT Reading Workshop with Debi Gliori on The World of Tove Jansson - SOLD OUT 11/8/14 Axel Scheffler - SOLD OUT 12/8/14 George RR Martin - SOLD OUT Reading Workshop with Eleanor Updale on Testament of Youth - SOLD OUT Ron Butlin and Emma Healey - SOLD OUT Totseats Are You Sitting Comfortably - SOLD OUT Bookbug - SOLD OUT 14/8/14 Rhymetime on the 14th at 11.30 - SOLD OUT 15/8/14 Karen Campbell on Sunset Song - SOLD OUT 16/8/14 Reading Workshop on The Hunger Games with Samantha Ellis - SOLD OUT Frank Gardner - SOLD OUT 18/8/14 Reading Workshop with Rebecca Mead on Middlemarch - SOLD OUT 19/8/14 Kate Adie - SOLD OUT 21/8/14 Greg Mosse on Crafting a Good Plot - SOLD OUT 23/8/14 Haruki Murakami - SOLD OUT 24/8/14 Haruki Murakami - SOLD OUT
