As much as I am enjoying seeing my college age kids leave the nest and begin the next phase of their lives, I cant tell you how great it is to have them all at home for the weekend as we celebrate Aidans graduation from MCRD San Diego boot camp. Traveling back from San Diego last night with my boys in the SUV was great as we shared stories and talked. I am so thankful for my family of origin who has given so much and so freely to me in so many ways; the family I married into: my dear wife Tricia and her wonderful family who also have been so giving and generous with their time and talents; our friends who are also so faithful and have stood by us at each step of the way; and now my own dear family that I adore, (you know, just the 8 of us + Coco the wonder dog). Thank you Jesus for these incredible blessings. May I serve you more each day. My heart is full.
