I had a playdate yesterday with my granddaughter Cassidy. We started the day with a hearty breakfast of pancakes and bacon around 6:45am. Afterwards we chillaxed in front of the TV for a couple of episodes of Paw Patrol on Nick Jr. Then we drove to Cartersville to visit the Tellus Science Museum. There we discovered a lot of huge dinosaurs, learned about light waves and sound waves, and the best part was climbing on the rocks at the front entrance. I told Cassidy she could pick out one souvenir from the gift shop. She meticulously picked up and examined each and every item in the rather large gift shop before selecting a stuffed animal of some unrecognizable species. We drove back to Atlanta where I tapped out at my moms house. I collapsed into a coma on my moms couch while Mom and Cassidy undertook baking cookies. I vaguely remember awakening in a haze with my daughter Heather Beames reclaiming Cassidy sometime that afternoon. At least I hope that was Heather.
