As much as I like watching the current crop of shows featuring people living off the land in the back country of Alaska, (Alaska: the Last Frontier, Yukon Men, Life below Zero) Ill stick with living in South Milwaukee. Having to subsistence hunt and fish would sort of ruin it for me, as it would turn it into hard work. NOT that I dont mind having to work to harvest an animal or fish sometimes, but starving because you didnt connect is a whole other issue. I like my running water, gas fired furnace, Wal-Mart 6 blocks away, etc. Could I do it if I had to? Probably for a while, and I am sure it bumps up your skill level when you depend on your Outdoor skills for a living. I think Ill just watch from the side lines...
